These terms govern your use of the JiffyRecord website and Mac application. By downloading, purchasing, or using JiffyRecord, you agree to them.

License

A personal JiffyRecord license permits one individual to install and use the software on up to two Macs they control. The license is non-transferable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Team use requires the appropriate number of licenses.

Trial and purchase

The trial is provided for evaluation. Paid licenses are processed and fulfilled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Prices, taxes, and supported payment methods are shown at checkout.

Updates

Your purchase includes the current version and one year of feature updates. You may continue using the last version received during that period indefinitely. Future update coverage may be offered separately; it is optional and does not disable the version you own.

Acceptable use

You must have permission to record people, screens, audio, and material captured with JiffyRecord. You may not use JiffyRecord to violate privacy, intellectual-property, export-control, or other applicable laws, or to distribute malicious content.

Third-party services

Optional integrations such as Google Drive are governed by their providers’ terms. JiffyRecord is not responsible for third-party service outages, account restrictions, or changes.

Warranty disclaimer

JiffyRecord is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from JiffyRecord will not exceed the amount you paid for the software. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses.
